Diagnoses Module

Overview

This article describes how to make changes to the Diagnoses Module.  You can add to this list or inactive codes that are not applicable for your agency.  These changes will then be reflected across your database when accessing a diagnosis pick list from the Clients Module or from within your online clinical documents.

Note: A change of permission may be required to edit/change diagnoses for the database. 

Add a Diagnosis

If a diagnoses is missing from the list, you can add the code with the legal ICD10 number and description.

  1. Go to the Diagnoses Module.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Choose ICD10 from the Select Type dropdown.
  4. Type the ICD10 Code.
    • The list of matching codes/descriptions appear in the ICD10 Reference section in the middle of the window.
    • If the number you enter does not produce a matching code/description please submit a help desk ticket to Procentive to add to the master list so long as the code is still valid.

  5. Enter the most specific code until only one description is remaining. (F06.3_)
  6. Enter the name of the diagnosis.
  7. Click Save.

Add a Non-billable Diagnosis

  1. Go to the Diagnoses Module.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Choose ICD10 from the Select Type dropdown.
  4. Enter the (000.00) Code.
  5. Enter the name of the non-billable diagnosis.
  6. Select No in the Billable dropdown.
  7. Click Save.

Service lines that have a non-billable diagnoses will remain in the time module, and not enter the billing module, until a billable diagnoses is associated to the service line.

Inactivate a Diagnosis

  1. Double-click on any unneeded diagnoses.
    • A new window will open.
  2. Change the Active dropdown to Inactive.
  3. Click Save.

Inactivate Multiple Diagnoses

  1. Select multiple lines by holding down the control key on a PC or command on a Mac
  2. Click Change.
  3. Change the Active dropdown to Inactive.
    • The system may default to this option.
  4. Click Save.
