Put a Computer or Tablet in Kiosk Mode

Overview

This article explains how you can send a clinical document to a computer to have your client complete it independently.

 Assign Permission  

You will first need to assign the permission to set up a computer in kiosk mode. If you are not familiar with editing staff roles, please review this support article:  Change Permissions (Edit a Role).

Step 1: Set up the Computer or Tablet

  1. Log onto Procentive.
    • This will need to be the same staff that will be sending (or kiosking) the forms.
  2. Click on the Settings Module.

  3. Click on kiosk mode.
  4. Name the Computer.
    • This must be an individualized "kiosk" name.

  5. Choose a Signature option.
  6. Click Go.
    • You should now see a light blue background with the Computer Name. This means the kiosk is ready.

Step 2: Kiosk (Send) Forms to Computer or Tablet

Kiosk From an Appointment 
  1. Go to the Appointments Module.
  2. Find that client's appointment.
  3. Click once on the appointment so it becomes highlighted
    • The details of the appointment and client information should now appear in the info panel -- the right side of screen.
  4. Click Have client fill out form at home/on kiosk
    • A new window will open.

  5. Select the radio button that contains the Computer Name you assigned in Step 1.
  6. Choose a clinical document to kiosk
  7. Click OK.
Kiosk From Clients Module 
  1. Go to the Clients Module.
  2. Locate the client.
  3. Click on the kiosk link to the far right of the line.
    • A new window will open.

  4. Select the radio button that contains the Computer Name you assigned in Step 1.
  5. Choose a clinical document to kiosk
  6. Click OK.
