Sometimes it is necessary to attach a message received in the Messaging module to a client’s chart. This article will go over the steps for this process.
Attach a Message to a Client's Chart
- Go to the Messaging module.
- Select the correct message.
- Single-click the message to open.
- Click on the message icon below the message text.
- Click on the attach to clinical option.
- In the new screen, choose Client.
- Select a document from the list provided OR from the search box.
- If applicable, a program can be selected from the Program drop-down.
- Then select OK on the bottom right.
The document will open in a new window with the message in the Attachments field which can be completed per usual.
