This article describes how to make changes to the Diagnoses Module. You can add to this list or inactive codes that are not applicable for your agency. These changes will then be reflected across your database when accessing a diagnosis pick list from the Clients Module or from within your online clinical documents.
NOTE: A change of permission may be required to edit/change diagnoses for the database.
Add a Diagnosis
If a diagnosis is missing from the list, you can add the code with the legal ICD10 number and description.
- Go to the Diagnoses module.
- Click Add.
- In the Select Type drop-down menu, choose ICD 10.
- Enter the ICD10 code in the Code field.
- The list of matching codes/descriptions will appear in the ICD10 Reference section.
- If the number you enter does not produce a matching code/description, please submit a help desk ticket to Procentive to add to the master list as long as the code is still valid.
- Enter the most specific code until only one description is remaining, ie F06.3_.
- Enter the Name of the diagnosis.
- Click Save.
Add a Non-billable Diagnosis
- Go to the Diagnoses module.
- Click Add.
- In the Select Type drop-down menu, choose ICD 10.
- Enter the Code in the Code field, ie 000.00.
- Enter the Name of the non-billable diagnosis.
- Select No in the Billable drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
Service lines that have a non-billable diagnosis will remain in the Time module and will not enter the Billing module until a billable diagnosis is associated with the service line.
Inactivate a Diagnosis
- Double-click on any unneeded diagnoses.
- Change the Active drop-down to Inactive.
- Click Save.
