Changing your agency's name affects more than just the name on the door.
IMPORTANT: Before making any changes, please send Procentive a ticket so that you can be connected to your Customer Success Manager. They will assist you in making this transition a smooth & seamless one.
It could impact your billing & in turn, your cash flow. In order to minimally impact your business, you will want to make plans and prepare well in advance of the actual name change. These are some things you will want to consider:
- Will you need to change your agency's NPI?
- Will you need to change your agency's taxonomy?
- Will there be a change to your agency's primary billing address or location?
It could impact your clinical documents.
Clinical documents frequently pull agency information and company logo images from the Settings Module. Before any changes are made, you will want to review the setup of your documents with a Procentive Clinical Documents Consultant to identify the steps necessary to preserve historical documents and to coordinate the implementation of all changes to new documents. All required text or logo changes to documents or to header and footer information applied to printed versions, will be subject to a quote.
Procentive Accounting will need to be notified of your name change.
- Do you have new banking information or did your name change with your bank? If so, Procentive will need to send you a new ACH form.
Do you use Client Portal?
- If so, your name & possibly your logo will need to be updated in the Client Portal Manager.
- Any messages to clients may been to be updated in the Client Portal Manager as well.
