Overview
If you are sending your clients appointment reminders via text message and your client replies to the text message with OK or cancel, Procentive will reflect this in the appointment. This article will explain where you will see this information.
Appointment Confirmations
After the system sends the appointment confirmation, a yellow check will display in the left corner of the appointment in the Appointments Module.
In the Appointment Window:
- The Confirmation field will change to E-mail/Text/Automated Message.
- If the client replies to the text with OK, Y, or YES, Procentive will change the Confirmation field to Reply from SMS/Text.
- If the client responds with cancel, the Status field will update to Client Cancelled, and the appointment will appear as a cancelation on the calendar.
- If the client replies to the text with OK, Y, or YES, Procentive will change the Confirmation field to Reply from SMS/Text.
- If you click the reminder link, Procentive will show you when a reminder was sent and what the message contained.
- If the client has responded via text message, it will also show the date & time of response in addition to the text of the response.
Other Client Responses
Other responses that the system will recognize are REMOVE or STOP, which allows the client to discontinue receiving messages.
NOTE: Clients are able to respond to appointment reminders regardless of what is included in your appointment reminder message. For example, even if your message says "Please do not reply to this automated message - contact us if you are unable to keep this appointment.", your clients are still able to reply "YES" and confirm the appointment or "cancel" and cancel the appointment.
