Overview
This rejection will appear on an institutional claim submitted electronically in the Electronic Module. The payer is wanting to know if the primary diagnosis was true for the client at the time of admission.
Error Message
Present on Admission Indicator for reported diagnosis code(s).
How to Resolve
- Go to Clients Module > Payers tab.
- In the Enrollment sub-tab, scroll down to Diagnosis Present on Admission drop-down.
- Select the option that applies.
- Click Save.
- Resend the claim.
