Overview
You may use the Advanced Selection checkbox in the Group Time Add window to view a check list of clients for a selected client group; this makes it very easy to check off and record who attended the group service that day. This feature is useful when you have many clients in a group and attendance for that group varies a lot from day to day.
Requirements to Use Advanced Selection
To be able to access an attendance check list for group services:
- You must have created and populated client groups in the Client Groups Module
- You must create a group service line with client groups from the Time Module.
- Note: When adding group service lines in the Appointments Module via the Time Add link, the clients will automatically populate in the Group Time Add window based off the clients who are scheduled.
Use The Advanced Selection Checkbox
- Go to the Time Module.
- Click Add.
- The Time Add window will open.
- The Time Add window will open.
- Select the Group radio button at the top of the Time Add window.
- Location (if applicable): Select the location where the service took place.
- Note: This is important because the Client Groups that appear in the Client Group drop-down may be limited by the location they are associated with.
- Check the advanced selection checkbox.
- Client group: Select the Client Group for this group service.
- A window will appear with a checklist of all clients listed in that client group.
- A window will appear with a checklist of all clients listed in that client group.
- Check the box next to each client in attendance that day.
- As you check each client, they will be added to the table in the Time Add window.
- When you are done adding clients with the advanced selection check list, click Cancel to close the window.
- Add any additional needed clients using the Client field in the Time Add window.
- Continue filling out the fields of the Group Time Add window (Staff, Supervisor, Code, Time In, Time Out etc.) as needed.
