Overview
You are able to remove staff (including yourself) from a ticket. Once removed from a ticket, that staff will no longer be notified when that ticket is updated.
Staff Associated with Ticket
Staff listed in this section will be notified when that ticket is updated. To remove a staff:
- Go to the Ticketing Module.
- Double-click on the ticket.
- The Ticket window will open.
- In Associated Waiting on: Click the red X next to the staff you want to remove.
- The staff name will be removed from the list.
- Click Save.
Important: When removing staff, it's important that you save the ticket right after making this change. If you have additional comments to add to the ticket, you will want to re-open the ticket after removing the staff to add those comments.
- If you add a comment, remove the staff, then save the ticket. The staff that you just removed will be alerted of the comment; meaning their Ticketing module will flash but, since they no longer are associated to the ticket, they will not be able to open the ticket and get the flashing to stop.
Assigned Staff
If your name appears in the Assigned to field on an open ticket, and you want to remove yourself from the ticket, you will need to choose a different staff for the ticket to be assigned to.
- Go to the Ticketing Module.
- Double-click on the ticket you wish to remove yourself from.
- The Ticket window will open.
- In Assigned to: Select another staff one of two ways:
- Type in the first or last name into the text box and hit the arrow over
