When a client or guardian requests a copy of a clinical document, you may print these from Procentive. This article will explain how to print a document or multiple documents at one time.
Clinical Document Requirements for Printing
- The document must be saved in Procentive.
- Adobe PDF Reader must be installed on your computer.
- The document must have a print view option (meaning a print view was created for the clinical document).
- If there is no print view option, you can request a quote to have a print view created by submitting a ticket to the Procentive Support Desk.
Print One Clinical Document
- Go to Clinical/Charting Module.
- Double-click on the clinical document you want to print.
- Click the Print drop-down menu in the lower-left corner.

Select desired print view.
- A PDF print view will open.
- Click the Printer icon or hold down Ctrl (Command on Mac) + P.
Print Multiple Clinical Documents at Once
- Go to Clinical/Charting module.
- Hold down Ctrl (Command on Mac) key and click on each clinical document you want to print, this will highlight the clinical documents.
- Click Change.
- A new window will open.
- Click Review All link.
- Click the printer icon or hold down Ctrl (Command on Mac) + P.
Print a Blank Clinical document
A clinical document must be saved to a client in order to be printed therefore, in order to print out a blank version we recommend creating it under a fake client (ie. Test A Client).
- Go to Clinical/Charting Module.
- Click Add.
- A new window will appear.
- Select a fake client.
- Select a clinical document.
- Click OK.

Complete the required fields.
- Required fields can vary based on settings and how the clinical document was designed.
- Click Save.

Click the Print drop-down menu in the lower-left corner and select desired print view.
- A PDF print view will open.
- Click the printer icon or hold down Ctrl (Command on Mac) + P.
- White-out any information belonging to the fake client.
