Send a Fax from the Faxes Module

1. Click Add in the top right-hand corner.
2. If you are sending the fax to a known individual who is in the Contacts module,
   • Enter their name in the Lookup contact field and, click the arrow.
   • Or click the picklist button to select the individual from the list.
3. If you are sending the fax to a staff member at your agency, 
   • Enter their name in the Lookup staff field and, click the arrow.
   • Or click the picklist button to select the staff from the list.
     
     
     
     
4. Enter any information desired.
5. Once all information is added, click the Add Files tab.
6. There are 2 options to add a file:
   • To Scan a file, click the Scan link to launch the scanning software.
     • For more information on setting up scanning in Procentive, see this article.
   • To Attach a file, click Choose File.
     • Up to 12 files can be attached.
     • PDF file format is recommended.
       
       
       
       
7. Click Save.
   

   NOTE: If no file is attached, a warning will pop up confirming that the fax should be sent without it.
   
   

    

8. A confirmation message that the fax has been sent will display.     
   
   
   
   
9. Click OK.
10. To see the status of the sent fax, return to the main Faxes module screen.
11. Select Sent Faxes from the View drop-down menu.
