When a prescription has run out of refills, the pharmacy can send a renewal request to the prescriber through NewCrop. Approve, Deny or Replace renewal requests from the Pharmacy Renewal Requests section of the Tasks page. A pharmacy message alert also displays on the Compose Rx tab with a link to the Tasks page.
If an administrator has entered a Staff Review Note and Recommended Action, it will display in the Staff Review column on the Tasks page and within the renewal request, and the name of the administrator will display below the prescriber name in the Prescriber column. Staff Review Notes and Recommended Actions are recommendations only and do not transmit prescriptions to the patient's pharmacy.
NOTE: Use the Show CS checkbox to include or hide scheduled drugs on the Tasks page. Select or deselect the Show CS checkbox, then click the Filter button.
Use the Print icon at the top left to print the Tasks page. The page will display with any filters selected.
