Each of the following Settings Categories are available for you to customize according to your operational needs:

Bed Status
Bed Status is required and used to identify the status of a bed with regard to whether it can be reserved for or assigned to an individual.
Default Bed Statuses
- Go to Bed Management > Settings > Bed Status.
- By default, you will see three Bed Statuses:
- Needs Cleaning
- Needs Repair
- Ready
- All default Bed Statuses will be Active, ready to Allow Assignment and Allow Reservation.
NOTE: All columns can be resorted by clicking the icon to the right of the column header.
- At this time, the default Bed Status cannot be edited.
Add a Bed Status
- Click New.
- Enter a Name for the Bed Status.
- Enter a Description for the Bed Status, if desired.
- The checkboxes for Active, Allow Assignment and Allow Reservation will default to checked. Uncheck if desired.
- Click Save.
Edit a Bed Status
- Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the Bed Status you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make any changes needed.
- Click Save.
Bed Types
Bed Types are customizable and used to classify or categorize a bed for the purposes of assigning it to meet the needs of the individual, such as Adult Twin, Upper Bunk, Lower Bunk, or Crib. It is recommended that at least one Bed Type be created. If used, Bed Types are an available Filter option in Bed Management.
NOTE: Once created, Bed Types cannot be deleted but can be modified or made inactive.
Add a Bed Type
- Go to Bed Management > Settings > Bed Type.
- Click New.
- Enter a Name for the Bed Type.
- Enter a Description for the Bed Type, if desired.
- The checkbox for Active will default to checked. Uncheck if desired.
- Check the box for Default if desired.
- Click Save.
Edit a Bed Type
- Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the Bed Type you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make any changes needed.
- Click Save.
Bed Tags
Bed Tags are customizable to further categorize a bed based on a property that is important for managing or assigning beds, such as Isolation, Medical - Full Electric, or Mobile. If used, Bed Tags are an available Filter Option in Bed Management.
NOTE: Once created, Bed Tags cannot be deleted but can be modified or made inactive.
Add a Bed Tag
- Go to Bed Management > Settings > Bed Tags.
- Click New.
- Enter a Name for the Bed Tag.
- Enter a Short Name for the Bed Tag.
- This is a required field.
- Enter a Description for the Bed Tag, if desired.
- The checkbox for Active will default to checked. Uncheck if desired.
- Click Save.
Edit a Bed Tag
- Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the Bed Tag you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make any changes needed.
- Click Save.
Attendance Status
Attendance Status is used for recording an individual's attendance and enables the automated population of the Residential Calendar in the Time module. Attendance Statuses are customizable to allow you to create the options you need to track the attendance status of individuals assigned to beds.
Each Attendance Status must be associated with a single Day Code, as defined in the Residential Calendar in the Time module. One or more Attendance Status(es) may be associated with the same Day Code.
NOTE: Once created, Attendance Statuses cannot be deleted but can be modified or made inactive.
Add an Attendance Status
- Go to Bed Management > Settings > Attendance Status.
- Click New.
- Enter a Name for the Attendance Status.
- Select a Day Code from the drop-down menu.
- This list is populated from the Time module > Residential Calendar > Day Codes.
- Enter a Description for the Bed Tag, if desired.
- The checkbox for Active will default to checked. Uncheck if desired.
- Click Save.
Edit an Attendance Status
- Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the Attendance Status you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make any changes needed.
- Click Save.
Waitlists
To use Waitlists, at least one must be created.
NOTE: Once created, Attendance Statuses cannot be deleted but can be modified or made inactive.
Add a Waitlist
- Go to Bed Management > Settings > Waitlists.
- Click New.
- Enter a Name for the Waitlist.
- This may be the name of a program, location or building, whatever makes sense for your agency.
- This would not be the name of a client.
- Enter a Description if desired.
- The Active checkbox will default to checked.
- Click Save.
Edit a Waitlist
- Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the Waitlist you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make any changes needed.
- Click Save.
